Josef (Chris) Bikle has been a parishioner here at Trinity since 1946! He and his late wife, Nancy Jane Bast, raised their two sons, Mark and Tom in our church. Although currently a resident of the Village of Robinwood, Chris grew up in the Smithsburg area before settling in Boonsboro with Nancy.
Chris spent his career as a Field auditor for the Maryland Department of Employment Security, a job that allowed him to meet and interact with many people over the years. These days, he enjoys following the successes of grandsons Matt and Josh, watching the stock market, collecting coins and watching football.
Chris has enjoyed many things at Trinity, but is especially fond of his time singing on the choir over the years. Watching and interacting with the children and young people of our church has also become a favorite.
