A member of the Hoffman Family, Laurie Metz has attended Trinity for about 40 years. Husband Jay joined when they married in 1999.
The Metzs have two children who have grown up/are growing up in our midst. Gabrielle, 20, was an active participant in youth activities as a teen, serving in Lutheran Youth Organization, attending two tri-annual national youth gatherings and numerous road trips.
Today, Gabi lives in Alabama and plans to join the military in 2012. Adam just turned 10 and attends the magnet program at Boonsboro Elementary. He also enjoys scouting with Webelo Pack 20 and the Junior Bass Masters where he placed 10th in his first year of competition.
Laurie followed a career at the CIA and WashingtonCounty Hospital with her current tenure as a stay-at-home mother. Jay is a longtime paramedic and firefighter in Montgomery County. They have both served Trinity in various capacities. These days, they stay busy parenting, working with Adam’s scout den, working around their home on Della Lane and enjoying time with family.
