The Tribett Family, Darin, Karen, Jared, Nathan and Ryan, have been at Trinity most of their lives.

Karen, daughter of Jean and John McCammon, began in the Sunday School Program at the age of 2 when her parents relocated to Boonsboro. Her fondest memories may be repeated as her sons are all active here. She remembers being a part of Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and the Youth Ministry. Special memories include a winter weekend youth event in Baltimore, high school Sunday School class led by Bill Dellinger, and playing parts in bible school skits and Christmas pageants.

These days, Karen teaches 3rd Grade at Pleasant Valley, and Darin is a home improvement contractor who owns a small business. They stay busy with their three boys in sports and music, and when there is time, Karen enjoys reading and Darin does woodworking.

Says Karen, “My mom, Jean McCammon, can usually be seen sitting next to me in church. My sister, Andrea Smith, and her children Owen, Avery, and Emma are also members of Trinity.

I love working with children and have been involved in our church’s educational ministries for about twelve years. I was our church’s Christian Education Coordinator for a few years. I teach the 2nd and 3rd Grade Sunday School Class.

I feel very fortunate to have grown up in this church, because I feel like its members are a part of my extended family. Every church memory that I have is with Pastor Joe as my pastor. I feel truly blessed to have had him as my pastor guiding me in my faith through my childhood, youth, adulthood, marriage, and now guiding my children as well.”

We are glad to have Karen and her family as part of our congregation. Get to know them!
