About Trinity's Youth Ministry:
Trinity Youth Ministry was born with the mission of educating and entertaining our young folks. The group is open to all kids in 5th grade through graduation from high school. Our goal is to provide opportunities for service, both within the community and throughout the world. Some of our past projects have been support of the local food bank, collections for the Hagerstown Pregnancy Center and CASA, participation in Operation Christmas Child, and support of the Church World Service efforts in third world countries. Trinity's youth also like to play, and we have many activities each year. Snow tubing at Whitetail has been a favorite, as is bowling. We have gone on camping trips and had picnics at Family Recreation Center. Sleepovers and movie nights are also popular. Our older youth have had the chance to attend RoadTrip for the past three years, a gathering of ELCA Youth from the MD/DE Synods. Together, we have examined and solidified our faith. We invite all who are interested to come and join our group.. AGAPE love, unconditional love, is waiting for you! Peace. For current activities of the Youth Group, please see the HiLites newsletter. |
