This is a national day of service in September through the ELCA with each church deciding on the project they’ll adopt. Trinity will be sponsoring a project to support those recently released from prison to help them adjust back into society. St. Dysmas is a Lutheran Congregation in the Maryland Correctional System. Our synod supports the Community of St. Dysmas, which shares the transforming power of Christ’s love with persons incarcerated in the Maryland Department of Corrections and to support them upon their release
Please help donate or contribute to this worthwhile ministry. Needed items: Bath/Hand towels and washcloths, dishes, toilet paper, waste paper basket, pots/pans, tissues, toothpaste/ toothbrushes, bedding, paper towels, hand soap, drainer for dishes, laundry detergent and plastic food containers.
