The South Washington County Lutheran Churches will be sponsoring a Health Fair at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 64 South Main Street, Boonsboro, on Saturday, September 24, in the Social Room from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
There will be a variety of health activities and information for all ages.
- CHIPS [Maryland Child Identification Program]
- Injury Prevention
- Immunization
- Child Car Seat Placement
- Cancer Screening and Prevention
- Blood Pressure Screening
- SALT [Seniors and Laymen Together]
- health teaching activities for children
- Dr. Donna Acree will be available from 9:00 – 11:30 am to offer information and answer your questions about Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Donna will also offer samples of her low-allergenic nutritional drink for kids called Nanny Meal.
- Representatives from Meritus Medical Center, the Washington County Health Department, and Enkore Kids Store participate.
Volunteers Needed
Adult and teenage volunteers will be needed. If teenagers need Service Hours, taking part in the Health Fair will qualify.
