🍗It’s that time of year again and Trinity Lutheran Church invites our members and the community at large to support the Thanksgiving Blessings outreach led by Julie Williams.
In its 15th year, “Thanksgiving Blessings” provides a prepared Thanksgiving meal for families in need at Boonsboro Elementary, Middle and High schools, Fountain Rock, Greenbrier, Pleasant Valley and Sharpsburg schools. Approximately 70-80 meals will be prepared this year.
If you’d like to help support this initiative, please see the sign-up sheet.
👉Pay particular attention to the dates that specific foods have to be dropped off to Trinity (64 S. Main Street, Boonsboro). If you aren’t a member with access to the church to drop-off, Julie provides her phone # to coordinate.
If you would like to make a monetary donation, please make checks payable to: Trinity Lutheran Church- memo line MUST SAY “Thanksgiving Blessings”. The money donated will be put towards all packaging supplies and any food items we may need to buy.
🦃THANK YOU to the Mr. Christmas Outreach, which donates the turkeys for the meals – approximately 30 turkeys this year. Mr. Christmas Community Outreach raises funds through its Turkey Trot 5K in Shafer Park and other events here in Boonsboro.
🦃THANK YOU to the Boonsboro Lions Club for donating all the boxes of Stove Top stuffing.
