CROP Walk to Combat Hunger - OCTOBER 12TH - 1PM, Taylor Park, Keedysville

The Crop Project began in 1947 when farmers were asked to donate food and seed crops to our hungry neighbors in post-World War II Europe and Asia. Since then, CROP Hunger Walk events have been held in hundreds of communities, large and small, raising millions of dollars to eradicate hunger and poverty. Join Trinity’s Team to help us get one step closer to ending hunger!

Celebrating 275 Years

Trinity Lutheran Church is celebrating it’s 275th anniversary this year.  The roots of our congregation date back to 1750, even before the town itself was founded, when Lutherans gathered to worship just outside of Boonsboro.  Eventually, our congregation gathered in a shared space on Potomac Street and, in 1870, laid the cornerstone to our current building at 64 S. Main Street.

A Steeple Rises Again

After more than 70 years, a white steeple will once again rise above Trinity Lutheran Church in Boonsboro. Originally built in 1870, Trinity’s wooden steeple stood as a visual and spiritual landmark along Main Street until it was removed following a series of lightning strikes and fires. Now, with the safety of modern aluminum construction, Trinity is very excited about the prospect of bringing the steeple back—restoring not just a piece of our church’s architecture, but also a part of our town’s historic charm.

Trinity Went to the Flying Boxcars!

A group of 25 from Trinity headed off to a Flying Boxcars game recently against the Charleston Dirty Birds. It was a hot – but great – time for all.  Thanks to Mark Poffenberger for making arrangements!

Trinity Lutheran is a warm community of believers that welcomes everyone and anyone.

We believe that church isn’t just a physical place, it’s a group of people who want and need to be closer to God and to help show his love for all people.

The emphasis is on the WE. It’s not primarily about what Trinity can do for you, but rather what TOGETHER we can do to fulfill God’s call for us all.  We rely on Him to help in our day-to-day lives and we come to Trinity to find friendship, renewal and hope.

If you are looking for a church community, we hope you’ll stop in and join us in worship, Bible study, outreach or a social gathering.

Support Trinity and its Programs

General Donations/Offerings help support many efforts at Trinity, including outreach to our community, support to Synodical programs, and ongoing operational expenses.
