Bring your pet to receive a blessing at Trinity’s Annual Pet Blessing to be held in conjunction with BooneFest on Saturday October 21st at 11am.

Each year, Trinity invites pets of all kinds – dogs, cats, birds, hamsters – to be prayed over for the coming year. We’ve even had our local farmers bring a pig and a cow. It doesn’t last more than 5 minutes.

If you can’t join the group at 11am, Pastor Karl will be available until Noon to give an individual blessing. Pets are welcomed as long as they are on a leash and are friendly with other animals and people.

The Pet Blessing has its origins in remembering Saint Francis of Assisi who loved all creatures. Trinity Lutheran is located at 64 S. Main Street, one block up from the main square in Boonsboro.
