Pet Blessing with dog, cat, bird and bunny with heartsReminder to also bring your pet to receive a blessing at Trinity’s Annual Pet Blessing to be held in conjunction with BooneFest on Saturday October 21st at 11am.

Each year, Trinity invites pets of all kinds – dogs, cats, birds, hamsters – to be prayed over for the coming year. We’ve even had our local farmers bring a pig and a cow. It doesn’t last more than 5 minutes.

If you can’t join the group at 11am, Pastor Karl will be available until Noon to give an individual blessing. Pets are welcomed as long as they are on a leash and are friendly with other animals and people.

The Pet Blessing has its origins in remembering Saint Francis of Assisi who loved all creatures.
