Indoor worship will resume at Trinity on Feb. 21 st at 10:15am.

The increase in covid cases and hospitalizations that occurred throughout late November through the middle of January have declined to the levels seen this past October. As we come back to a single worship service there are many things to continue to emphasize.

What we have been dealing with is not over and the risk is not zero. With the excitement of returning, there might be a desire to walk about and talk to people, to hug someone, take off your mask, shake hands, etc. For now, PLEASE Do Not! This is hard to ask and hard to do. We are trying to minimize socializing in the sanctuary and limit physical contact. It is important that those who wish to attend in person abide by the guidelines.

There is always a chance that someone in our congregation might contract the virus in their normal daily routines. That is a reality. We want to lessen the chance of transmission to any members, or friends, who come to the worship service.

This is all about personal responsibility and the decision to attend must rest on each member. If you feel that you are more susceptible to the virus or in a group that is more at risk, please take this into consideration when making your decision.

No pretending allowed. Please read this section!

1) Please wear a mask properly. Cover your nose and mouth completely. Age 5 and up.

2) Each Sunday, sign-up for the 10:15 service. Please do not assume that someone knows you are coming. We realize this is not something that everyone/anyone wants to do. It continues to be necessary to make sure we can accommodate everyone safely, and not put anyone in an awkward situation by having to turn someone away because there is not enough space.

  • You may register online up to an hour before the service if seats are still available. This is a different sign-up form than was used previously.
  • Or, you may e-mail Trinityboonsborosecretary@gmail.com, or call the church 301-432-2226 and leave message on the answering machine by Saturday at 5:00 pm. Include how many people will be coming with you, and who will sit in your group.

3) If you, or anyone else in your household, feel the least bit under the weather, please do not attend. You will still be able to join us online.

4) The entrance for the service will be the front doors with the ramp. Church doors will open at 10:00am prior to the service.

5) For now, ushers will escort you to your seats and will excuse everyone by rows.

* Everyone has various levels of comfort with covid. We ask that you remain in your seat once you enter the sanctuary and resist the urge to socialize. When you exit the building at the end of the service, we hope you enjoy a conversation in the parking lot.

6) Sanitary wipes will be available in the bathroom near the church office. Please wipe down any surface that you touch when finished.

7) An offering station will be set up at the entrance to the sanctuary.

8) Singing, for now, is still on hold.

9) When we exit the church we will leave through the front door and move towards the parking lot.

10) If you test positive for the Covid virus, please be sure and notify Pastor Karl, or Tim Panther, or call the church office (301-432-2226). We will continue to take attendance at each service and will be able to notify people who were in attendance, if they might possibly have been exposed.

11) The service will continue to be available online.

12) At this time, we are working at getting back to the worship service. Sunday School, Bible Study, and other small group meetings will be considered after the 21 st and 28th .

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Jeff Grills, Pastor Karl, or Tim Panther.
