Dear members of Trinity,

I pray that everyone is doing well. I just want to update everyone on what is happening at Trinity.

The church council has been working hard to keep our members safe as we start to return to face to face worship. I have been attending biweekly zoom meetings with lay leaders and council presidents throughout the synod. These meetings have been highly informative and most helpful as we of Trinity plan our return to face to face worship.

The council has decided to not allow anyone to use the parsonage at this time. The lock on the parsonage has been changed. We have also decided to allow meetings in the social room only. Anyone wanting to meet MUST contact Chuck Schwalbe at 410-570-6033 to coordinate dates and times. We have also established guidelines that groups must adhere to, and this includes Sunday school classes. This will be monitored.

We ask that the refrigerator, dishes, and coffee maker not be used at this time. Please note that the cloth chairs in the social room have been replaced with our old plastic chairs. Some have stains but I assure you they have been cleaned. The plastic chairs will be easier to wipe down after use.

We ask that you please sign in when you use the social room. The sign in sheet is on a table when you enter the kitchen. This will help us keep track of anyone in the social room.
The council is currently working on a plan to safely return to indoor service, but we cannot yet say when that will take place. Our priority in returning to the sanctuary will be the safety of our people.

The safety and wellbeing of Trinity’s members are of utmost importance to us. We welcome all thoughts and suggestions. I hope to see you this Sunday for our outdoor service. We completely understand if you are not comfortable returning at this time.

Peace,
Kim Nally, Council President
