Lord, we pray for calm, in our nation and in our cities. We are much aware of recent acts of injustice, and we ask for a new era of peace and reconciliation among all Americans, born of confession and forgiveness and mutual love and respect. We pray for an end to racism and discrimination. We pray for all who have been targets of injustice. Grant healing, grant restoration, grant love. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
