Trinity, Facebook is the tool through which we livestream our worship services. After worship, we then embed the livestream on our website so those of you without a Facebook account can still watch the service.

Unfortunately, Facebook has made it impossible for us to embed the services any longer. Every week when we try to embed, Facebook blocks us automatically, generating a message about copyright violations. Yet, there are NO copyright violations. Not only is most of our music not under copyright, but we pay for licensing privileges that allow us to both use the music and to livestream the music. We list this license information on the livestream itself.

Facebook is a behemoth and they have provided no path for disputing the block. We’ve tried! Therefore, until such time as we can identify a viable alternative to Facebook livestreaming, will not be able to post the services on our website.

For those of you who have Facebook, you will continue to be able to see the services as usual. If you don’t have a Facebook account and want to watch the livestream, you may want to consider signing up for an account. There is no need to post on your account, or accept friend requests. You would only need to go to Trinity’s Facebook page to watch the service.
